This piece is one of the 28 "minature" works in the second SmallWorks Fine Art Edition Show - the Fall 2007 Collection.
“I caught this brookie at a 3-day brook trout retreat in May 2007 at a feeder stream of the Conewango Creek near Russell, Pennsylvania. Cornplanter Plantation is a beautiful Amish cottage with fishing literally out the back door. Despite weather in the high 80s, the stream, covered by the dense forest canopy, remained icy cold and was full of wild healthy brookies.” |
