Wildlife that is truly wild, in the wild, has impressed Beecham and he enjoys capturing them on the move, on the prowl, at play, or on the attack. The true reward for his devotion is his family and a quiet life rich in simple pleasures in Wyoming, but he has also received awards at the prestigious C.M. Russell Auction and the Pacific Rim Wildlife Art Show, among others. He was the Featured Artist at the 2000 Southeastern Wildlife Exposition and his work has been exhibited everywhere from the permanent collection of the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Museum to the Museum of Natural History in Beijing, China. Honoring his father, Tom Beecham, and his fellow wildlife artist Bob Kuhn, who he felt gave him permission to play with paint, Greg Beecham follows where he feels nature is leading him -- to showcase the unity of elements that make up the beauty and wonder of wildlife in the wilderness. |
